Dry Hopped A dry hopped beer is a beer to which some extra hops have been added after fermentation directly to the barrel. This allows the beer to obtain extra hop charter and aroma from the hops as it ages. Hook Norton brewery in Oxfordshire regularly use dry hopping in their cask condition ales, as do some other breweries around the UK (and probably elsewhere). There are to ranges of beer kits that include hop pellets and instructions on how to dry hop your beer, these are John bull's Sherwood ales and Brupaks Pride of Yorkshire, of couse you can also buy fresh hops and experiment on your own.
